In 2010 Robyn and designer friend Mark Veljkovich co-founded I’ve Got Wood Furniture. IGW pioneered the use of beetle kill pine in their Denver community. This project received a grant from the city, as well as newspaper and magazine write-ups for bringing awareness to the creative community and general public about the hundreds of thousands of dead trees in the Rocky Mountain forests caused by the mountain pine beetle.
A blank white hallway and a request for retired weaving supplies from our rug vendor in India. Opening the mystery boxes of worn in tools was such a wonderful reveal, rivaled only by opening these finished panels that our local fabricator executed exactly to spec.
These trees were developed to support West Elm's 2017 Holiday display. Brought from concept, to prototype, to production, to all store rollout in just 5 months. Robyn worked with an artisan in India to create these trees made from paper that ranged in size from 4 to 6 feet. After their time on display in approximately 100 store interiors and windows, these flat pack trees were sold off to customers.
This one off installation was created for a conference room in West Elm's new headquarters. Made from 100s of paper mache "bricks" by artisans in Haiti then shipped to Brooklyn in sections, it was installed and painted onsite in shades of white, grey, and cream to compliment the space.

A collaboration with artisans in India to create a 30' x 7' woven wall mural that hangs in the grand staircase at the new West Elm headquarters in Brooklyn, NY. Robyn created an original watercolor painting of the Brooklyn Bridge as well as a spec package for master weavers to follow. Sent in three pieces and installed onsite in a short 3 month turn around time.

Using mostly reclaimed wood, these snowflake sculptures were created as display for West Elm's new store opening in Washington DC. Over 30 snowflakes ranging in size from 16" to 48" were handmade and displayed on site, each one different from the next. A couple of the snowflakes were sent to our vendors for duplication, and were turned into wall art for sale on West Elm's website and in stores.

Originally designed as an in-store display element, these oversized hand-dyed bolts of fabric were ultimately turned into a curtain pattern that was sold in stores and online at West Elm.
Supported this multi-department lift to showcase West Elm’s office furniture line by providing props, original artwork, installations and team management at both the Neocon conference and an offsite pop-up showroom.
